TANAKA
Teruyuki (Japan)

TANAKA Teruyuki
One of the common ingredients in traditional Japanese medicine is the
sweat of a frog. The way to get it is put to a big frog in a box with a
mirror. The frog, by observing its ugliness in the mirror, slowly
starts to sweat sweat like a thick paste.
In this piece the artist made his own version using a rattle snake
instead of a frog and 4 will be surrounded by mirrors and face to face.
There is a certain irony and taboos behind this action.
