Yoshimichi Takei has been active in Performance art, actions, and dance as performance since the early 1980's. He has been developing since 1996 The "Big Yawn" series, collaborative performance between his body and lighting bulbs and light-sensors.

CONCEPT : A figure of mouth when you give a big yawn.

天使館、ママコ・ザ・マイムを経て、'84年ヒノエマタ・パフォーマンスフェスティバル参加を機に、電気器具や光センサー、スティールオブジェ等を用いたユニークな身体表現活動を続けている。
1996年より電球と光センサーと身体との有機的なコラボレーション作品［大欠伸. oakubi］シリーズを展開している。
